(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) 38 gunmen were killed and 124 others arrested in a 'counter-terrorism' operation in North Iraq city of Mosel, said Iraqi police today.
The Command of the 3rd division in Iraqi federal police, said in a statement that the Iraqi air force participated in the operation of arresting the gunmen. It added that large amounts of ammunitions were seized, and 57 explosive devices were defused.
The Commander of the of the 3rd division General Mahdi Al-Gharawi said that security forces will continue conducting similar operations in Mosul
