Singapore's economy grows 6.1 percent in Q4


(MENAFN) Economy of Singapore saw a higher-than-expected growth in the fourth quarter of 2013 to reach 6.1 percent, according to Oman Observer



The country's economy grew on the back of the growing manufacturing, the government said.



Manufacturing sector grew by 10.4 percent quarter-on-quarter, led by electronics and transport engineering



Also, the country's services sector grew by 6.1 percent during the quarter compared to the same period in 2012.
