MENA region's M&A deals rise 13 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) Middle East and North Africa region saw a 13 percent rise in mergers and acquisition (M&A) deals in 2013, according to Khaleej Times



The region's mergers and acquisition deals were estimated at USD50.7 billion in value, most acquired by the UAE and Qatar



A M&A deal between the merger of Dubai Aluminium with Emirates Aluminium for USD7.5 billion was the largest reported deal in 2013
