(MENAFN-Khaleej Times) Sayed Agha, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, has praised the efforts of Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the General Women?s Union and President of the Family Development Foundation, in the area of support and empowerment of Emirati women
The UN official praised Shaikha Fatima during a meeting which was held by the Office of the United Nations Development Programme in the UAE and the Department of Media and External Cooperation at the General Women’s Union.
Agha praised the effort of the General Women’s Union and its services to support women and upgrade their capabilities.
The meeting looked at ways of enhancing joint cooperation and future projects in all areas of empowerment of women between the General Women’s Union and the UNDP. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
