This year's Oman Web Awards will again be held under the auspices of ITA-Information Technology (e-Oman) the sultanate's e-Governance initiative, which is built on His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said's vision to create a Knowledge Society in Oman. In the competition companies can participate in any of the 26 categories and showcase their proficiency via their websites and can register online to compete in The Oman Web Awards by logging on to www.omanwebawards.org. The Oman Web Awards is of increasing importance and has gained wider recognition.<
