Spain's Ferrovial bids for UK airports

(MENAFN) Spain's infrastructure group Ferrovial made an offer to Heathrow Airport Holdings (HAH) for Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports in the UK, The Peninsula Qatar reported

The offer, which the Spanish firm held talks with two Australian funds for a joint bid, is worth around USD1.3 billion

An analyst at Espirito Santo investment bank said: "This in our view would represent a full price, arguably with limited upside in terms of synergies or efficiency as Ferrovial has already been managing these assets via HAH.

Ferrovial has been increasingly trying to expand its airport business in a bid to diversify from its domestic construction business
