(MENAFN - The Peninsula) QNET, direct selling company having its regional headquarters in UAE, is sending select group of UAE students from Rashid Centre to visit Taarana School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from February 16 to 22. QNET in association with Rashid Centre provides high quality, integrated education services and therapies for children with special needs

"QNET has always had a soft spot for children with special needs. We want to support them and help them nurture their natural talents and creativity. We are sponsoring eight 'Rashid Stars', the troupe of young performers from the Rashid Centre, to have a one-of-a-kind discovery of Malaysia," said Khaled Diab Regional General Manager of QNET Middle East and North Africa. "This upcoming visit to Kuala Lumpur will provide them a platform to interact with their counterparts in Taarana, QNET's very own school for special children in Malaysia, showcase a special UAE dance, learn and enjoy a different culture throughout a divrsified program with exciting activities and explorations," he said

The seven-day visit to Kuala Lumpur will start with a welcome party by Taarana students who will warmly greet the Rashid Stars with flowers. A cultural exchange of dancing sessions will be shown with Taarana children performing a Malaysian traditional choreography and Rashid Centre's children performing a UAE traditional choreography. For four days, the two groups will exchange their choreography techniques with each other

A visit to Kuala Lumpur's famous Bird Park will also be experienced by the Rashid Stars to show them the bird sanctuary and enjoy a nature walk. For a thrilling experience, they will visit Sunway Lagoon, a multi-award winning amusement and attraction theme park. To express their creative talents, a painting and hand craft workshop is prepared wherein every child from Taarana and every child from Rashid Centre will prepare a special art gift for a chosen friend.
