Spanish sixth seed Torro-Flor departed after being beaten 7-5 6-4 by Italian qualifier and world number 160 Nastassja Burnett



Next up for Burnett is teenage Belgian qualifier Alison Van Uytvanck, who beat Swede Johanna Larsson 6-4 6-3



In other first-round matches, Spaniard Silvia Soler-Espinosa thrashed Brazilian Laura Pigossi 6-0 6-1 and Pole Katarzyna Piter was too good for Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-3 6-3
