(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) Under the auspices of HE Minister of Environment Ahmad bin Amer Al-Hemaidi, the Qatar Green Center at the Ministry of Environment , in cooperation with Qatar Charity, and as part of its activities of the Qatar National Environment Day celebration , organized the 4th Agricultural Charity Market at Aspire Zone . The proceeds of the three-day market will be allocated for the benefit of the Syrian people. More than 20 institutions and company specialized in agricultural , environmental domains are expected to participate in this event. In a press statement , HE Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Naser Al Thani, the Assistant Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs, asserted that this market comes to reassure the ministry's concern of supporting the humanitarian and charitable activities which cope in line with the State of Qatar's role and its solidarity with the international initiatives in this area . He pointed out that the proceeds of this market will be allocated to various humanitarian issues via participation of a number of agricultural enterprises, private farms and some shops selling cattle , fish and birds ,expressing his thanks to Qatar Charity for its efforts exerted in the field of charitable and humanitarian work , particularly through their participation in this market in order to provide assistance to the brotherly Syrian people . Sheikh Dr. Faleh voiced deep thanks to all those who participated in the agricultural charity market noting this participation reflects Qatari peoples' due keenness supporting charitable and humanitarian activities . Meanwhile, Qatar Charity CEO Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari expressed his sincere thanks to the Ministry of Environment 's efforts being exerted through this market to provide an opportunity to support humanitarian and charitable works in regards to the duties of the ministry pertinent to the environment , its protection and encouraging of local agriculture . He reiterated that cooperation between Qatar Charity and the Ministry of Environment is fruitful and useful. The two sides are working to develop further such a cooperation , he said adding Qatar Charity has been cooperating with the ministry in this market for the second time so as to provide more assistance to the needy communities inside and outside the country. The Director of Qatar Green Centre Abdullah Mohammed Al Kuwari stated that market will provide opportunities for companies to display their products and to support humanitarian and charitable works inside and outside Qata
