(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) The Strategic Energy Forum on "The Role of Entrepreneurship in Economic Development",will kick off in Doha next Monday .



The two-day event opening on 24 Feb. and hosted by Qatar Uinversity (QU) will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry, Petroleum (QP) announced in a press release issued here toda



The forum will be held in the building, "QU" in the presence of Al-Misnad head "QU" and a selection of international speakers and experts of education and finance and the public secto



On this occasion, Raed Shuhaib, the CEO of "Interactive Business Network" company said, "We are delighted to cooperate with Qatar University in organizing this outstanding event, which is a vital platform to hold transparent discussions among industry experts who have international experiences bus successes." He added: "We are grateful to Qatar Petroleum for its support of such national events, which confirm that entrepreneurship is of central importance in the economic development and a key impetus of the activity and the diversity of the private sector...



It also play a major role in the construction of fixed capital and create new jobs, and to broaden the base of the economic ownership and support economic growth in the country, " he adde



The forum is expected to attract wide participation by officials and policy-makers and economic institutions, public and private university operating in the field of training and upbringing of young people , business leaders, banks and financial institutions, economists and experts in the relevant fields, and educational institutions in Qatar and the Gulf states, and others interested in the region and around the glob



For his part, Dr Nizam al-Hindi , the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Qatar: "We are delighted the presence of supporters key to the Forum" The Role of Entrepreneurship in Economic Development ", led by Qatar Petroleum, the most prominent supporters of such national events, where our focus is at the University of Qatar to educate Youth for leadership of the country's economy in the future. Elaborating Al -Hindi said the university offers a program in entrepreneurship at the university level through the master's program in business administration and post graduate studies. The university also organizes an annual competitive contest for students of business, while the students of Qatar University have an excellent record in the performance of national and international competitions , said the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at Qatar University. He added: "This is particularly important when it comes to instilling a sense of entrepreneurship in the hearts of the students , the matter which has created several talented and enthusiastic entrepreneurs in Qatar who will benefit truly from the experiences of the successful entrepreneurs, and many other interesting topics that will be discussed during this meeting. ...It is a step towards making Qatar an incubator for entrepreneurship and a regional center of excellence, and we look forward to working with the "Interactive Business Network" to organize this event. " Furthermore, it will provide industry experts from the owners of successful experiences of practical advice on setting up their projects, and ways to avoid common mistakes that encounter, as well as discuss issues of finding the right staff, and how to encourage them, and the adoption of better management skills, dealing with stress situations and legal aspects of the jo
