Royal Oman Police News Bid to smuggle four African women into Oman foiled

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Customs officers at the Wadi al Jizi post affiliated to the Buraimi Police Command have foiled an attempt to smuggle four African women into the country using false Omani passports.

An official at the Buraimi Police Command said that the officers noticed that women in the vehicle looked different from the photographs in the passports.

''The women were travelling in a vehicle from another Gulf country. A customs official also suspected that the driver was under the influence of drugs. He immediately alerted sleuths at the Police Command who recovered three drug pills from the vehicle,'' he added. The driver was detained and his case file referred to the Public Prosecution.
