Bangladesh exports up 15 percent in 7 months


(MENAFN) Bangladesh's exports during the first seven months of the current fiscal year were over USD15 billion, Xinhua reported



The country's Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) said that exports hit USD15.1 billion in the July-January period of the 2013\2014 fiscal year, soaring 15 percent from the corresponding period a year ago



EPB data reveal that for the month of January alone, exports increased 8.81 percent to reach USD2.75 billion



Total exports during the 2012\2013 fiscal year increased to USD27 billion, surging 11.18 percent versus the year before it
