Kuwait- Move seeks to address unemployment problem

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has started a comprehensive study on the regulations in welfare homes as part of efforts to lay down a new mechanism to oblige the inmates to respect the specified time for them to return to the welfare homes, reports Al- Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources explained this step was taken after the ministry noticed the repetitive violation of the regulations, especially among the children who do not return to the homes on time.

Sources said the ministry is keen on addressing the problem before it is blown out of proportion, up to the extent that it will negatively affect the inmates and the society.

Sources added the study covers all aspects of the issue like the reasons behind the reluctance of some people to work in welfare homes and deterioration of the academic performance of the inmates, especially since they are in different educational levels
