Kuwait- Cop attacked with cleaver


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A police lieutenant escaped unhurt when a bedoun thief attacked him with a cleaver, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The incident happened in Taima, Jahra.



The police officer was on duty and he suspected a motorist driving 4x4. When he checked the records of the vehicle, he discovered it was reported stolen by its owner.



When the officer ordered the man behind the wheel to stop, he obeyed, but as the officer walked over to him, the latter pulled out a cleaver and struck the officer.



However, the officer took one step back and avoided being hit. The motorist then escaped on foot but left behind his ID in the stolen vehicle. Police are looking for him
