Qatar- JCC interacts with global media firms at Kidscreen Summit


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Al-Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC) took part in a world-class challenge through its participation at the Kidscreen Summit held in New York from February 9 to 12. By such a participation, JCC seeks to expand its international network through establishing partner relationships with more than 1600 global companies from different media sectors. In addition, it seeks to know the market's needs of programmes, movies, and series.



Saad Al Hudaifi, Acting Executive General Manager and Channel's Director said: "The continuous presence in global content industry events helps JCC establishing new relationships that give the opportunity to cooperate and interact with leading global companies in the field of media industry. Our channels provide a variety of in-house production and acquisition programmes that are prudently picked from the global markets, in accordance with JCC strategy that aims to meet the current needs of Arab children and the new generation of media and modern communication means users, through a comprehensive and well-developed program content based on the 360-degree strategy.



He added: "In this summit, our spectacular programmes that gained children and families' admiration such as Tijan Annour "global competition for Holy Quran Recitation", Olamaa Al Muslimeen "Muslim Scholars", Uncle Mosleh's Tales, Min Qessas Al Saleheen "Righteous People's Tales", Everything's Rosie, Nan-wa-Lili, Kalila & Dimna, Jawla, Shams and Rami, and Discover Science were presented. Such programs seek to enrich children's life and attract their attention through preserving the Arab cultural identity and instilling proper values that contribute to raising up a promising generation"
