For more than 25 years, when people think of the Nissan Pathfinder, they imagine where it can take them. With its re-introduction the Nissan's SUV takes another major step forward in its Classic model. With a powerful V6 engine, a rugged truck frame underneath and available four-wheel drive, the Classic Pathfinder lives up to its reputation as an authentic, rugged adventure vehicle. The Nissan Pathfinder has maintained an iconic exterior design, while also remaining fresh and dynamic. The exterior is defined by its unique combination of sophistication and rugged, go-anywhere looks. The Classic Pathfinder features full auto AC with Dual zone climatic control and its rear AC controls creates a comfortable seating experience. With stateof- the-art CD, MP3 and speakers, passengers enjoy a unique audio experience too.
The vehicle features rotary switch (2WD/ Auto / 4L /4Hi), black outside rear view mirror with turn lamp, puddle lamp, power operated mirrors and day night inside rear view mirror. The Nissan Pathfinder's interior offers three-row and seven seating and exceptional utility and storage capacity.
A folddown third row seat, 40/20/40 split separate-folding second row seats with easy one-touch release lever for third row access come standard on all models. Storage areas are plentiful throughout the spacious cabin, including four cup-holders and an overhead console with sunglass storage. Utility is enhanced with four 12-volt outlets (two in the front, one in the centre console box and in one cargo area), driver's seatback pocket, plentiful passenger assist grips and available rear reading lamps and outside temperature gauge.
Standard on all Pathfinder models is a responsive enginespeed- sensitive power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system and four-wheel disc brakes with four-wheel, four-channel, foursensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with G-sensor and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD).
The Classic Pathfinder continues to be built on a highstrength, fully boxed, all-steel ladder frame based on the fullsize Nissan Armada SUV. Pathfinder's long-travel front suspension is an all-steel doublewishbone design with coil-over shocks and large stabiliser bar. For smooth ride quality and optimized handling, the rear suspension is an independent double- wishbone design with the coils located on the toe control link (offset spring and shock) with stabiliser bar. Standard underbody component protection puts a plate under the radiator, and all models are equipped with an integrated tow hitch. Wheel packages vary by Pathfinder model. Pathfinder XE models offer standard 16'' steel wheels with P265/70R16 tires.
The vehicle boasts of an engine VQ40DE, Power – Net 261 HP/56000RPM and a torque of Net – 38.9KG – M/4000RPM with a fuel tank of 80lt. The Nissan Pathfinder XE Grade also comes with halogen headlamp with leveliser, front and rear fog lamp, rear wiper, leather string, shift knob, power steering with tilt adjustment, front and rear power window, keyless entry, roof console and sunglass holder, floor mats and side steps. Pathfinder's long list of standard safety features and equipment includes Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS), featuring dual-stage front supplemental air bags with seat belt sensors and a front occupant classification sensor; supplemental front seat-mounted side-impact air bags; and roof-mounted supplemental curtain air bags for improved side impact and rollover head protection for outboard occupants in all three rows.
Other features include Zone Body construction with front and rear crumple zones; energy absorbing steering column; front seat Active Head Restraints and three-point front seat belts with pretensions' and load limiters, thee-point seat belts for all rear seat occupants, including the 2nd row center position; adjustable second and third row head restraints; LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children); Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with ABLS, HDC & HAS (Hill Decent control & Hill start Assist).
