MEA retailers log second highest revenue growth


(MENAFN) Retailers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) registered the second highest revenue growth during the previous fiscal year, Khaleej Times reported



Retailer's revenue growth in the MEA region hit 13.5 percent, second to Latin America's growth of 15 percent



Revenues for the world's 250 largest retailers reached USD4.3 trillion in the fiscal year running from June 2012 to June 2013



Clients and industries leader at Deloitte Middle East said: "The global retail industry got off to a difficult start in the last year. However, it is encouraging to see that the world's leading retailers were able to plough on through the difficult period to reap the rewards of increased consumer spend.
