Kuwait - 2 held with 30 car keys, cellphones


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Two men, wanted by law for their involvement in a series of car thefts, were arrested with more than 30 car keys and mobile phones in their possession. This came after a team of securitymen, led by Colonel Falah Mohes, intensified efforts to track down the thieves in compliance with the instructions of Jahra Security Director Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah. The team established a checkpoint in Saad Al-Abdullah where the policemen suspected a pick-up. After signaling for the driver to pull over for inspection, the officers checked his security records and that of his companion. The team's suspicion was confirmed as the records showed the two men were involved in a series of car robberies. They checked the vehicle thoroughly, resulting in the discovery of the car keys and mobile phones. A case was registered and the two suspects were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal measures. The officers discovered the suspects were keeping many tires in the vehicle, so they went ahead and inspected the tires and found different kinds of tools for perpetrating thefts, car keys and mobile phones.
