Turkey Renews its Commitment to Energy Agreement with Kurdistan Region

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated his government's commitment to the agreement concluded with the Kurdistan region government on energy, expressing his support to the ongoing talks between the government of the region and the Iraqi government in order to reach appropriate solutions to address this issue in a way serving the interests of everyone.



This came during a meeting held here today between Erdogan and the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Idris Barzan



During the meeting, the two sides discussed the issue of oil, the Erbil agreement, and Ankara Energy as well as the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad and the security and political situation on the Iraqi arena in addition to the Iraqi elections and the situation in the region.
