China's banks loans at its highest in four years


(MENAFN) Chinese banks lent as much as USD217 billion in January, its highest level of lent loans since January 2010, according to Arab News



The new record is three times more than the record registered in December, said the People's Bank of China



China's banks lent as much as they could in January in order to grab more market share



Capital Economics said: "The bigger picture is that bank loan growth has been effectively flat since the middle of 2013. We think that tight monetary conditions are probably here to stay.
