Kidnapped Bahraini Student in Malaysia Released


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Bahraini student, who was kidnapped in Malaysia for around two weeks, was released in coordination with Malaysian security authorities, Bahrain's Interior Ministry announced.



The ministry said that the Bahraini police team in charge of following up on efforts to release the student, Ali Ahmed Al Nashaba, had contacted the Malaysian police about the search and investigation procedures, which resulted in locating the detention site and release of the student on Friday, the official Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reporte



It added that he was taken to hospital, accompanied by the team, while procedures for his return to Bahrain are underway
