Revenues of Oman's top-end hotels up 11 percent in 2013

(MENAFN) Figures by the Omani National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show that the country"s top-end hotels posted an 11 percent increase in revenues last year, Arabian Business reported



The combined revenues of 31 four and five-star hotels increased to USD387.8 million, up from USD348.3 million in 2012



Five-star hotels had the largest portion of the revenue accounting for USD264.68 million of the total



The total number of hotel guests surged 10.8 percent in 2013, coming at a total of 614,000 versus 554,000 in 2012
