Kuwait- Smuggling Foiled As Liquor Bottles Found Kept In Ovens


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The customs officers at Shuaiba Port discovered the smuggling of several bottles of liquor from another GCC country. The officers got suspicious of a shipment of ovens, so they inspected the items thoroughly and this resulted in the discovery of a large number of alcohol bottles hidden in the ovens. Acase was registered and investigations are ongoing to identify those behind the liquor smuggling attempt



Threat to kill: A supervisor at Abdally Customs Investigation Department filed a complaint against the head of shift in Abdally customs checkpoint as the latter allegedly abused and threatened him when a dispute erupted between them. The complainant told officers at Al- Qashaniya Police Station that the accused threatened to kill him, claiming an unidentified person joined the fray. A case was registered and the accused will be summoned soon for questioning to verify the complaint. The necessary legal action will be taken against him once proven guilty
