China's Lenovo sales up 15 percent in Q4


(MENAFN) Global sales of the Chinese-owned computer maker Lenovo Group Ltd has boosted by 15 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to Oman Observer



The company's sales were estimated at USD10.8 billion during the period



Net profit of the fourth quarter reached USD265 million, or 30 percent higher year-on-year.



The company has agreed to pay USD2.3 billion to purchase the server hardware and maintenance division of IBM, and to pay another USD2.9 billion to buy Motorola from Google Inc
