Bahrain's investments in tourism reach USD518 m in 2012


(MENAFN) Bahrain's government plans huge investments in travel and tourism infrastructure to open the doors to a growth in the tourism industry, according to Gulf Daily News



The government will develope projects to flourish the tourism industry and attract more tourists to the kingdom, said Shaikh Khalid bin Hamood Al Khalifa



Bahrain's investments in travel and tourism sector were estimated at about USD518.01 million in 2012



Figures boosted around 13.2 percent in 2013, and are expected to grow by 4.9 percent per annum in the following 10 years to reach USD945.24 million in 2023
