(MENAFN - Arab Times) Lu&Lu Hypermarket, the retail division of the multidimensional and multinational EMKE Group has always been a trend setter of the retail industry in the region symbolizing quality retailing and is immensely popular with the discerning shoppers across the Gulf region, says Mohammed Haris, Regional Director of Lu&Lu Hypermarkets Kuwait. Now to provide unique shopping experience to loyal customers with unmatched quality, in terms of products and services, while continuously exploring new market opportunities and adding value to all business associates Lu&Lu is all set to open its branch No 109 in Dajeej off the Sixth Ring Road.

Billed as the biggest hypermarket in the city of Kuwait, the 230,000-sq-ft store will be inaugurated at 11:00 am Saturday, Feb 15, 2013 in the presence of top local dignitaries, including members from the ruling family and Lu&Lu Group management. The opening of the Lu&Lu branch in Dajeej spread over two levels with the food and grocery section on the ground floor and department and lifestyle products on the first floor, the new hypermarket is widely seen as adding more value to the residents of the bustling suburbs of Messilah, Mishref, Salwa, Ishbiliya, Khaitan, and Jleeb Al Shuyoukh

The mall also contains food court, jewelers, money exchange, perfume shops and watch counters. Ample parking facility has been provided in the basement of the mall and all together more than 750 cars can be parked at a time. With its pleasant and novel variation from the usual supermarkets, Lu&Lu offers an ultra-modern shopping ambience by integrating all conceivable needs of the consumers under one roof, says Haris.

During an interaction with the media Haris went on to say, "This is our group's biggest hypermarket in Kuwait and truly represents the height of quality and convenience, keeping in my mind the changing trends and customer demands. While all our stores follow the highest standards in terms of store fittings, hygiene and food safety regulations this hypermarket will set new benchmarks for the retail industry in Kuwait."

"It has been our policy to bring world-class shopping as close as possible to the shoppers rather than make them drive long distance," he added. Now with more than 37 sourcing offices worldwide, including UK, Africa and Far East, "We are fully equipped to serve the diverse population of this cosmopolitan country. Other highlights include special section to promote locally grown vegetables and fruits, which will not only give shoppers a chance to buy fresh produce but help the local farming community," he disclosed

Shoppers can look forward to the best range of not just grocery and food products but biggest range of lifestyle and fashion brands at most affordable prices. Another highlight would be the huge collection of latest electronics and IT gadgets which is sure to become a big hit with tech savvy shoppers of Kuwait. "We have specially worked out some very attractive and never-before offers as part of our inaugural promotions which we will be announcing after the inauguration," added Sreejith, Lu&Lu's Regional Manager
