(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company (Muntajat) celebrated Qatar National Sport Day with an American Football themed event held in collaboration with the Qatar Flag Football Club at Aspire Park. Muntajat employees and members of the Qatar Flag Football team gathered to join in on the national celebration that promotes the practice of sport and physical activities to contribute to a healthy society. Speaking about the National Sport Day activities, Chief Executive Officer of Muntajat Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla said: "Muntajat is proud to partner on a unique experience for our employees on the occasion of Qatar National Sport Day. Sport Day is an ideal initiative to encourage residents of Qatar to embrace a sport-driven healthy lifestyle. This significant annual event, initiated by HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, reflects our leadership's focus on nurturing an active society." The event was graced by the presence of HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada. "We are indeed fortunate to have HE Dr. Al Sada with us today to celebrate Qatar National Sport Day. We appreciate HE Dr. Al Sada's support to Muntajat and its initiatives, which inspires us to continue to work hard towards achieving our objectives." said Al-Abdulla.
