(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The ROP's Criminal Investigations and Interrogation Directorate, led by the governorate of Buraimi Police, has arrested an Asian, who is accused of stealing more than RO900,000 in a neighbouring Gulf country.
After receiving information from Interpol and conducting investigations, the accused was arrested from an apartment in the Hamasa area of Buraimi. A large sum of money was also recovered from the apartment.
The ROP has initiated the process of extraditing him to the neighbouring country utilising the existing framework of cooperation among GCC countries for fighting crimes and the extradition of criminals.
