(MENAFN) Siemens Energy won a long-term agreement for Baiji gas power plant, located in the Salah al-Din governorate in Iraq, according to Arab News
The agreement was signed between Siemens and Iraq's Ministry of Electricity
Siemens will supply and deliver spare parts for the plant's four SGT5-2000E gas turbines under the agreement
Karim Amin, head of Siemens Energy Service in the Middle East, said: "As the development of Iraq"s long-term energy infrastructure gathers pace, it is increasingly important that the country"s power-producing assets are performing optimally.
