Tunisia PM, Turkish FM Hold Talks


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has pledged his country's support for Tunisia, voicing confidence in the Tunisian government's capacity to successfully complete democratic transition, state news agency TAP reported. The Turkish official made the remarks as he met with Tunisian Caretaker Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of boosting them on all fronts. They also discussed the recent political developments in Tunis. Davutoglu, on his second visit to the Arab country since the 2011 uprising that toppled former president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, had met earlier with his Tunisian counterpart Mongi Hamdi and Constituent Assembly President Mustapha Ben Jaafar
