Matuidi Concedes PSG 'Suffered' against Monaco


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi has acknowledged that Monaco made his side suffer in Sunday's 1-1 draw at the Stade Louis II here last night in the French Ligue 1 encounter.



The principality club rescued a draw late on thanks to a Thiago Silva own-goal, after Javier Pastore had given the reigning French champions the lead. Matuidi, 29, admitted that Claudio Ranieri's side were good value for their point, after pushing the Ligue 1 leaders right to the finis



"We fell away a little," the 26-year-old told a local channe

In midfield, we suffered, but we were solid nonetheless." The draw in the riviera means PSG remain five points clear of second-placed Monaco at the summit of the standings
