Toulouse boss lashes out over Top 14 player availability

(MENAFN- Kora) Without six of their stars, who are away on national duty with France at the Six Nations, Toulouse were edged 15-12 to slip to seventh on the table

An agreement between the French Rugby Federation and the Ligue Nationale de Rugby has meant national players have been kept in camp for the past fortnight

National staff can also request players be rested for the next weekend's round of Top 14 games

"I thank them for giving us games like this and for putting us in the difficulties that we have been in over the past weeks," Bouscatel said sarcastically on CanalPlus

"And it will continue. I'll wait for Sunday night to know that the staff of the French team will do for the international players who are at their clubs

"I'm really angry against the system of collusion between the league and federation. I am extremely angry and I would have been whatever the result. They really are hypocrites and jesters.

Bouscatel has said the agreement makes the Top 14 'unfair and devalued', and he resigned from the LNR board of directors
