Myanmar's border trade reaches USD4b in 10 months


(MENAFN) Myanmar's border trade reached USD4.01 billion during the first 10 months of the 2013-2014 fiscal year, Xinhua reported



The country's border trade in the April-January period was through 14 points with four neighboring countries which are China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India



Myanmar's largest border trade point, Muse, accounted for nearly USD3.12 billion of the total border trade during the period



Official statistics show that Myanmar's foreign trade came at USD15.27 billion as of September last year, with exports hitting USD7.43 billion and imports reaching USD7.84 billion
