Jazz stun Heat, Mills stars for Spurs

(MENAFN- Kora) Marvin Williams' 23 points saw the Jazz stun the Southeast Division-leading Heat with a 94-89 win at the EnergySolutions Arena

The Heat had recovered from 87-79 down to bring the deficit back to two in the final minute, but the Jazz responded for their third straight home win over Miami

Dwyane Wade scored 19 points for the Heat as LeBron James struggled, hitting four-of-13 from the field for just 13

James' 13-point haul is his lowest since he scored the same number in a win over the Atlanta Hawks on November 19 last year

The win helped the Jazz improve to 17-33 this season, but they remain well behind and bottom of the Northwest

Mills guided the San Antonio Spurs to a come-from-behind 104-100 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats with a season-high 32 points

The Southwest Division leaders trailed 70-69 heading into the final quarter, but they produced a 12-4 run during the fourth

Brandon Jennings led the way for the Detroit Pistons in their 126-109 victory over the Denver Nuggets at the Palace of Auburn Hills

Jennings hit 35 points and provided 12 assists, while Josh Smith was similarly impressive with 30 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists

The Portland Trail Blazers were too good for the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 117-110 win and the Memphis Grizzlies edged the Atlanta Hawks 79-76

Dwight Howard (27 points) saw the Houston Rockets past the Milwaukee Bucks 101-95 and Goran Dragic's career-high 34 led the Phoenix Suns to a 122-109 win over the depleted Golden State Warriors
