Kuwait- Two Arab men rob compatriot of KD 23,000


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs in Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali ordered the detention of a National Guard officer for placing stickers on his car in violation of the traffic rules and regulations.



A security source said the operations room of the General Traffic Department received a phone call from the administration of National Guard inquiring about its personnel in uniform who was arrested while driving his private car near the US Embassy in Bayan.



Apparently, the officer whom many violations have been registered against him was driving a vehicle with stickers on it, and wasn't holding any other form of identification other than his military ID.



The source added that traffic personnel had notified Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali about the incident beforehand, and he ordered them to book the car and refer the violator to police custody after changing his military attire
