Kuwait- Several law violators held


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Labor law violators held: Jahra police launched security campaigns in the commercial areas and markets and arrested 23 expatriates for violating labor law. The culprits were caught working for other sponsors and nine of them were not holding identification papers, reports Al-Anba daily. Also, the officers issued 30 traffic violations and took two reckless youths-a Kuwaiti and a Bedoun into custody for endangering life by performing stunts. The officers also impounded their cars and referred them to the relevant authority



Also Hawally securitymen, under the guidance of Hawally Security Director Brigadier Gholoum Habib, arrested 38 individuals during an intensive campaign that they launched in various locations within the governorate. According to security sources, the officers had set up security checkpoints within the governorate where they arrested eight individuals wanted by law for drug related cases, eight violators of Residency Law, eight wanted by law for civil cases, eleven absconding workers and three drunken individuals



Securitymen referred the arrested individuals to appropriate authorities for necessary legal procedures against them. Meanwhile, Ahmadi police nabbed five expatriates, including three women, at a security checkpoint in Mahboula for violating residency law. The suspects were reported to have absconded from their sponsors, reports Al-Rai daily. Without giving further details, the daily said all suspects have since been referred to the General Immigration Department
