(MENAFN -Arab News) The Replacement 2 bowled good enough to claim Team of the Week honors on a day when not one team dominated during the fifth session in the OFBC 4 1 Friday Afternoon League Season 3 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.Though Replacement won decisively over Archie & Company 18-2 it could only garner 5 rank points with a modest total pinfalls of 2,111 for total win points of 23 the lowest thus far in the young tournament.Third week honoree Archie & Co. found itself at the bottom of the session’s scoresheet on 5 points but had some consolation courtesy of veteran Fuly Primo who became the first back-to-back ladies Bowler of the Week after she rolled her division’s best series of 605.RTJ Transient House strengthened its grip on first place as it logged 20 points following a 14-6 triumph over the Youngsters Revival on total pinfalls of 2,112-2,077 and rank points of 6 and 2.The top output getter on the day was Carlos Sports Wear which drilled 2,162 in a 10-10 draw with defending champion Red Dragons who carded 2,130.Elsewhere, Pairs & Spares notched an 11-9 win over D’ Luf’s Strikers on total pinfalls of 2,008-2,088 and rank points of 1 and 4.The men’s Bowler of the Week award went to Jojo Esperanzate of Youngsters who rolled 558.Captained by Khalid Bustinera, Replacement 2 had Rudy Ramos at the top of the scoring ladder on 562 followed by Fedelyn Bustinera on 472. The other scorers were Jhun Ejanda 142-156, Rico Parcon 139-139 and Khalid 160.RTJ used a single set of four players to build its total with Kristhea Mae Busico at the helm on 535. Ed Cordova tallied 541 with Nidoy couple Joel and Malou on 513 and 523.Leading the way at Carlos team was the duo of Shirley Sagmit 559 and Louie Pacia 541. Chipping in two games each were skipper Vov Stone 172-171, Gino Vallejos 152-165 and Jameel Gabrera 146-172.Red Dragons, who have yet to make a significant move in their campaign to retain the title, drew the leading score of 536 from Aisah Silabay. Cesar Pagtalunan contributed 496, Bash Lnaga compiled 180-141, Tom Langa 193-147 and Thong Langa 145-160.Ed Sardia was the top scorer at Pairs on 520 followed by Joey Calapatia 493. Team captain Jhune Estefano tossed in two games of 168-179 as did Alona Antinera 119-168 while Nap Patayan scored 179.Team standings after the fifth week:1. RTJ Transient House 107.0 points 2.
