SpiceJet plans to order 38 Boeing planes


(MENAFN) India's SpiceJet is planning to order 38 Boeing 737 Max jets at a valued price of USD3.9 billion, Times of Oman reported



The deal will consist of 30 new orders and swapping an existing purchase of eight 737 NG jets for the upgraded Max model



The bid will help the carrier to face market leader IndiGo and undermine the competition from AirAsia and Singapore Airlines



The economic growth across Asia Pacific in the past ten years have caused a travel surge in the region
