(MENAFN -Arab News) RTJ Transient House nailed the first perfect double, winning back-to-back Team of the Week awards and men’s Bowler of the Week award during the third session in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 2 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.RTJ reached the maximum possible total of 28 points with a 20-0 shutout of Pairs & Spares and total pinfalls of 2,329 that gave Rudy “RJ” Jamon’s team rank points of 8.League commissioner Joel Nidoy made it a perfect double when he rolled the high series of 606 to become the Bowler of the Week.TSFJ Pin Crusher challenged RTJ for honors but had to settle for second best on 27 points. TSFJ was awarded automatic 20 points in the match against the bye team though its total pinfalls of 2,703 failed to top RTJ’s output and was good only for 7 rank points.Also winning by 20-0 shutout was Mixed Shots over D’ Cyclone on total pinfalls of 2,702 and 2,459.Mixed Shots ended up with total win points of 26 with American Garden, a 12-8 winner over D’ Luf’s Strikers, on 16. D’ Luf’s had 10, Pairs 5 and Cyclone 3.Vangie Lim got Mixed Shots a share of the day’s honors by clinching the ladies Bowler of the Wek plum on 549.Malou Nidoy backed up hubby Joel with 525 and another female member of the RTJ team, Kristhea Mae Busico, had 505 as the other player to go the distance. Team captain Jamon compiled 153-199, Ed Cordova 161-160 and George Mangaliman 127-169.For TFSJ the trio of Rudy Ramos, Jhun Ejanda and Mildred Florentino bowled full games of 550, 547 and 530 to go with the 145-125 by Jayme R. Lugue, 170-141 by Rico Parcon and 155-148 by Sharmaine Patayan.The Lims enjoyed a good day out on the lanes with Mixed Shots skipper Toto and his daughter Carms scoring 583 and 502 to complement mother Vangie’s effort. Jojo Esperanzate added 557 and Vic Gonzales 511 to complete the team’s five-man rotation.Over at American Garden Louie Pacia was the main man on 525. Shirley Sagmit came through with 497 while skipper Vov Stone had 462 on the board along with two-game contributions from Benj Espinosa 142-139, Gino Vallejos 162-147 and Hyett Ann Achai 113-91.Team standings afer the third week:1.
