(MENAFN) Doha International Airport's (DIA) passenger numbers have increased by 10 percent last year, hitting 23.27 million, Arabian Business reported
The cargo traffic has also surged in the airport, increasing 4.7 percent from 2012. Actual aircraft movements increased 7.9 percent in 2013
The growth came ahead of the opening of Hamad International Airport in mid-2014
DIA spokesman said: "DIA went to great measures to plan ahead and ensure high levels of coordination with the respective authorities and service providers in order to enrich our passengers' travel experience.
