(MENAFN Press) Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Qatar, Minister of Interior, HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani , the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), the unique annual artisan exhibition of the world's most luxurious pieces of jewelry, gemstones and timepieces, will return in February 25th, 2014 for the eleventh year running. This was announced at a press conference held at the Qatar National Convention Center and attended by the organizers in the presence of top media. This year's exhibition will be held at Doha's iconic Qatar National Convention Centre, a perfect venue for this display of splendor and stunning design



Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority in partnership with q.media events and for the first time “ Fira Barcelona, the eleventh Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition will cover nearly 20,000 square meters ,34 exhibitors with more than 500 jewellery and watch brands have already signed up for the high-profile event running from February 25 and March 2. This year's event will feature a catwalk show, showcasing top designs from all exhibitors at the event

"Doha Jewellery and Watches exhibition has become one of the most important specialised regional and international exhibitions in the luxurious goods and a premier event which brings together world renowned jewellers, watch makers, luxury exhibitors and visitors from around the world. We are expecting this edition of DJWE to be met with strong interest with new exhibitors and exclusive offerings.



" What distinguishes this edition from previous editions is a total area of 20 thousand square metre, compared with 15 thousand square meters in the previous year in addition to a 20% increase in the space for each exhibitor", added Al Abdan

The event will be held for the first time in Qatar National Convention Center, which is considered an exceptional venue equipped with the latest technologies, making it the perfect match for such an event"

Fira Barcelona is the Spanish leading trade and industrial show organizer with a portfolio of over 70 different shows. The company's involvement for the first time, will add a new dimension to the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition
