(MENAFN Press) Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Qatar, Minister of Interior, HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani , the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), the unique annual artisan exhibition of the world's most luxurious pieces of jewelry, gemstones and timepieces, will return in February 25th, 2014 for the eleventh year running. This was announced at a press conference held at the Qatar National Convention Center and attended by the organizers in the presence of top media. This year's exhibition will be held at Doha's iconic Qatar National Convention Centre, a perfect venue for this display of splendor and stunning design.
Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority in partnership with q.media events and for the first time “ Fira Barcelona, the eleventh Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition will cover nearly 20,000 square meters ,34 exhibitors with more than 500 jewellery and watch brands have already signed up for the high-profile event running from February 25 and March 2. This year's event will feature a catwalk show, showcasing top designs from all exhibitors at the event.
"We believe in the importance of the role the private sector could play to further improve the MICE industry in Qatar, hence we are pleased with the partnership with 'q.media' and 'Fira Barcelona' to organize this exhibition and we are looking forward to more accomplishments" said Mr. Hamad Al Abdan, Director of Exhibitions at Qatar Tourism Authority.

" What distinguishes this edition from previous editions is a total area of 20 thousand square metre, compared with 15 thousand square meters in the previous year in addition to a 20% increase in the space for each exhibitor", added Al Abdan.
