Ballmer retired after 30 years with Microsoft. Nadella has been working with Microsoft for 22 year
His most recent post was as Head of the Cloud Computing and Enterprise Visio
His most prominent contributions was bringing Microsoft's database and Azure to its cloud syste
"During this time of transformation, there is no better person to lead Microsoft than Satya Nadella," Microsoft's Founder and Member of the Board of Directors Bill Gates said in a statemen
He added that "Satya is a proven leader with hard-core engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together
