Qatar to invest USD205 b in its infrastructure


(MENAFN) Qatar said it plans to invest USD205 billion in its infrastructure in five years starting from 2013, according to Arabian Business



Qatar has already spent billions of dollars in several sectors, such as transport, electricity and water generation and housing to improve its economy



The country's budget has been increased 17.9 percent to reach USD57.8 billion in 2013-2014



The projects are mainly financed by the government. Meanwhile, the government is looking for local and international lenders to help in financing the projects
