(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Ishaq Dar delivered a letter from Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Shaikh Mohammed and discussed ways to promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received Pakistan Minister for Finance, Economic Affairs, Revenue and Statistics Senator Mohammed Ishaq Dar at his Zaabeel Palace on Tuesday.
Ishaq Dar delivered a letter from Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Shaikh Mohammed and discussed ways to promote bilateral relations between the two countries. He also conveyed the greetings and wishes of Nawaz Sharif to Shaikh Mohammed for his continued good health and prosperity of the UAE under his wise leadership.
Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, was also present during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of the Ruler's Court of Dubai; and Lieutenant-General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai.
Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Qamzi, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, and Javed Jalil Khattak, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, also attended the meeting.
Earlier, the Pakistan finance minister also met Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Federal National Council Affairs, and discussed matters of mutual interests.
