Indonesia's surplus hit USD1.52 b in December


(MENAFN) Indonesia has reported its biggest trade surplus in two years in December, giving a sign of economic recovery, according to Iran Daily



The surplus exceeded expectations by USD1.52 billion in December compared to USD776.8 million in November



Economists said that data showed the country's economy is giving a sign of recovery



Robert Prior-Wandesforde from Credit Suisse said: "If there was any doubt that Indonesia"s trade position is improving, there shouldn"t be now.
