It attracts many Arab and foreign tourists and showcases art and folk performances, hosts sports events and heritage activities. There are attractions for all sections of society.
Muscat Festival has received tremendous response at both the main venues - Amerat Park and Naseem Gardens. The organising committee of the festival has arranged for many events, performances and activities including those targeted at children and the youth.
The current year's festival comes in a revived form that includes events that combine heritage with modernity.
There are impressive international cultural, recreational and sports activities in addition to those with wide participation from foreign countries.
