China's Tibet revenue of tourist sector grows 30.6 percent


(MENAFN) The Tibet Autonomous Region reported a record high in number of tourists in 2013 reached 12.91 million tourists, raising USD2.72 billion more, according to Qatar News Agency



Number of tourists to the region increased 22 percent year-on-year with a rise in visitors from overseas



Number of overseas visitors have boosted by 14.5 percent year-on-year in 2013, reaching 223.000 tourists



Tibet's revenues in the tourism sector grew by 30.6 percent year-on-year to USD2.72 billion
