South Korea's consumption of diesel rises 4.5 percent


(MENAFN) South Korea has posted a 4.5 percent rise in average consumption of diesel in 2013 compared to 2012 on the back of the growing number of diesel-powered automobiles in the country, according to Qatar News Agency



Consumed diesel by South Koreans reached 438 liters in average in 2013, registering a 4.5 percent rise from 2012



Average consumption of gasoline has boosted by 2.1 percent during the same period to reach 240 liters per capita.



Gains of imported models rose by 45.8 percent during the same period to 97,185 units. Also domestic models boosted 12.3 percent to 357,801 units
