India's growth estimate lowered to 4.5 percent


(MENAFN) India lowered its estimated economic growth for the 2012-2013 fiscal year to 4.5 percent from 5 percent as a result of weaker agriculture, mining and manufacturing, Xinhua reported



The country's Ministry of Statistics said that exports, capital investment and consumption sectors also grew lower than expected in the year



The gross domestic product growth for the year, however, was increased from 6.2 percent to 6.7 percent
