South Korean Watchdog Suspends Three Credit Card Firms


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) South Korea's three leading credit card companies whose customer data was stolen by the millions will be suspended for three months as punishment for lax supervision, Yonhap news agency report said Sunday citing sources.



According to the sources, South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) and Financial Supervisory Service are planning to officially notify KB Kookmin Card Co., NH Nonghyup Card C



And Lotte Card Co. of the business suspension on Monda



The suspension will be effective from February 17, they said
